I needed some new photos for Tinder, and since Tinder in particular is a surface-level app, high-quality photos of yourself are essential if you want to improve your match rate.

I'd never had professional photos taken before, and I don't consider myself especially photogenic, but the photographer got some really sharp shots. He was also very down to earth, friendly and relaxed, so I quickly felt at ease during the session, which matters a lot for the quality of the photos, since how you come across makes a big difference. After I started using the photos on Tinder, my match rate went up 4 to 5 times compared to before.
